Living in God’s Kingdom
There are two kingdoms at work in our lives, God’s Kingdom and Our Own. And for us to choose to live and follow God’s kingdom can be incredibly challenging. It is easier for us to look at God’s kingdom and decide that it is either too difficult to follow or that it’s not worth the effort to change.
Keep in mind that while it seems harder to follow in God’s Kingdom, it does far outweigh the benefits of following your Own Kingdom.
This week, spend time praying that God will help you live in His Kingdom and Not so much in Your Own. So, the next time you find yourself in a situation where you have to choose between God’s Kingdom and Your Own, I encourage you to pray and ask God to help you make the “Upside Down Choice” – or the “Out of the Norm Feeling Choice” - to follow His Kingdom. (This is that un-easy feeling when you start something new; like your first day of work or school.)
Let’s all join together in God’s Kingdom Daily.
“His Kingdom come, His Will be done.”
