Keeping Faith in Our Daily Lives

Do you know that "Awesome Feeling" when you come back from a Weekend Retreat, or maybe even a Summer Camp or Outing to help strenthen your Faith! You love God so much! You get so pumped up with His Love and Grace! You want to Share God with all of your Family and Friends! Life is soooooo good! Then, all of a sudden, maybe a week later... something "Bad Happens in your Life"; either a Bad Grade on your Exam, a Loved One becomes very ill; or maybe even the Loss of a Friend or Family Member that you were extremely close to. You know the feeling! Immediately, anger fills your heart and takes hold of you, shortly comes sadness and despair, and then... the question "Why" comes into view. Why is God doing this to... meeeeeeee! I just spent all of this "Quality Time with God" and This Happens! I thought, God loves me... like everyone says He does! Yes, you feel like you've just fallen off a tall bridge! Your thoughts and feelings go numb! You feel like your heart has just been ripped out of your chest or fallen down to your stomach! That empty feeling of pain. When this happens, open up the book of Psalms in your Bible and Read..... Read... Read... Keep Him in your Prayers for Strength and Guidance. Don't worry, God didn't say Life would be easy, but He did say that He would always be there for you. You may not see or feel His Presence anywhere, but Keep Listening and Waiting for Him. He will answer you. Just be Patient and He will answer in His Time. Remember to always have Faith.
