Noticing and Reaching out to Others...
Last week, we all said that we’ve all felt “Invisible” until Christ took notice and reached out to us. We said that while we may still feel invisible in our own worlds at times, there was a point when God saw us and recognized us. This week, builds on that principle. Because God noticed us, we need to notice and reach out to others.
We all need to start meeting people that we may ordinarily oversee in a personal setting or place that you would normally go to... and get to know them.
Read Micah 6:8. What do you think it means to “act justly” and “love mercy”?
What can you do this week to start noticing others that may feel invisible, and then act - on behalf of God - towards them, letting them know that they are Noticed and Important? What do you think you can do to make this a lifestyle and not just a one-time event? Who knows? You might even meet a new friend from it!
Everyone wants to feel Noticed and Important! The easiest thing to do to notice someone is to simply… Smile at them and say “Good Morning”… or “Good Afternoon”… or even “Have a Nice Day”! The results are incredible!
