Consequences of Cohabitation

This is a major issue in our society today! You can live with your boyfriend or girlfriend – but what usually follows is… “I’m not ready to get married though”, am I not right? My argument is “What’s the difference; why not make it legal”? Now, I can’t say this anymore… It’s starting to be legal, but it is still… not Morally Right! The argument back is… “It’s the convenience to be able to leave at any time – with no issues or ties.” My argument back is that this how God has NOT intended for us to live! This DOES NOT take the place of marriage! Living in this light is not right! It is a sin! Children are being brought up in this type of environment over and over… creating a “Broken Family” right off the bat! There’s not a Father, and a Mother, with a child; like it is suppose to be. You are lucky to get either one! So, as soon as a child is born, he feels illegitimate and like a mistake – instead of a Blessing; like we all are! Why punish these children? I wish, our Society of today would stop and see this! Society needs to stop this way of living! Stop playing house… and Wake up! If there’s not a commitment between the two of you now; there’s NEVER going to be one! You need to … find someone else who will commit and marry you. Evidently, this one isn’t the one for you. No matter what you say or do – you are not going to change this person into marriage! I encourage you to move on… life is so short! All of us deserve respect and happiness in life! Give yourself enough respect to leave this type of environment. Plus, the utmost happiness does not come from something or someone – it only comes from our Heavenly Father above! Open up your lonely and lost heart to Him! He loves each of us unconditionally!
