True Discipleship happens when We Choose to Serve

Jesus called the first disciples by simply saying, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” His words would prove to be revolutionary for these men’s lives. Not only were they leaving the rather comfortable life they knew, but they were embarking on the most life-changing journey in history of humanity. By making the choice to follow they changed the world. That same call is going out to students today. Jesus is calling them to follow Him and serve this world with their lives. By doing so, true discipleship occurs. This week your goal is to begin to see that Jesus is calling you to serve in this world just like He did when the first disciples were called. Specifically, we are all being called to serve in 3 different; but equally important ways, in church, in our community, & in our world. Everyone has their own way of reaching out to serve; rather it be locally or afar. All ways are important.
