Forgiveness
As a Recipient of Forgiveness, become a Dispenser of Forgiveness. Genesis 4:3-8, 15, 24; Matthew 18:21-22, 23-35
Forgiveness sounds like a great idea. We love to be forgiven, don't we? Then... why is it so hard to extend forgiveness to someone else?
I believe, the main reason is that by forgiving it means we need to deal with a hurt or an offense that has caused us pain. All it takes is one word, one memory, one person and the hurt and pain we felt can be so real now.
This week, try to let go of all of your extra baggage. Forgive that person that either hurt you or let you down. Release all of the added weight off of your shoulders! Be free of the anger and resentment. We all want to be forgiven. So, we need to do our part too.
