How does the Bible define Love?

Some would say: √ Love is a feeling. √ Love is passion. √ Love is commitment. √ Love is caring and sharing. We don't have to guess what love is. God has provided us with many bible verses in His word on this important subject.The fact is it really doesn't matter what we think love is. What matters is...What is God's definition? (He knew we all needed clarification.) God not only does love us, but the Bible says God is love. Scripture thankfully define it for us. (1 Corinthians 13:4-7) Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
