More Helpful Information...

Blessed are the merciful…Forgive … Forgive … Forgive. Why? Because we’ve all hurt others … even family members. Our only hope is to forgive each other the way Christ forgave us. Blessed are the pure in heart…When an unhealthy thought or an unkind word crosses your mind, walk out of the room and surrender it to God. The fruit of the Spirit is love. Blessed are the peacemakers…It is impossible to truly love and forgive without acting like it. Gently guide the members of your family to experience peace together. Sometimes you really do need to make peace. Be courageous. Be bold. Be a peacemaker. Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness…It can be very lonely to be in the right. But we do not obey God to feel good … we serve God because we know it’s the best thing to do. And when it hurts … remember that a sacrifice which feels comfortable is not really a sacrifice. In other words, if your family ridicules your faith, remember how Jesus was treated and remain calm, steadfast and positive about your faith. Allow the teaching of Jesus to enhance your celebration of Jesus in this and every season! Pastor Steve sreeves@cpccweb.org © Connection Pointe Christian Church 2010 • 1800 N. Green Street • P.O.
